VOLUNTEERS

We do not want to sound lame, but we are like a family.

For most of us, it started as it does for every ESN volunteer throughout Europe: the will to keep alive that unique feeling of being an International Student.

Being a volunteer in ESN is a rewarding, fulfilling, and fun experience. You are constantly learning with others and it brings you the knowledge of how big and diverse the world is, and at the same time how we share the same problems and concerns. You'll find connections that you've never imagined were possible.

But it will not be just your soft skills that will grow. All your talents will be used as so many different tasks are necessary to make the most welcoming and extraordinary Erasmus experience for International Students. ESN Porto is structured into twelve departments: Activities, Projects, Trips, HR, IT, Communication (Audiovisual, Social Media and Graphics), Partnerships (Commercial and Housing), Night Events and Buddy Program. You can help with anything, be it planning trips, managing IT platforms, working on social projects or planning a party. There is no need to be an expert at anything, just the will to learn and work, and always have in mind that we are Students Helping Students.
